Alexandria

Alexandria is a port city located on the Mediterranean Sea in the North founded in  331 BC  by Alexander the Great. It was the site of the lighthouse (Pharos), one of  the seven wonders of the  world, and the legendary Library of Alexandria. Here, Cleopatra built the Caesareum to honor Marc Antony. A 65 foot deep shaft leads to the Catacombs of Kom el-Shaqafa, a burial chapel combines Greek and Egyptian symbol.
